Carpet Beetle Control in Sidcup

Carpet Beetle Control in Sidcup – What We Usually Find

A Sidcup loft with boxes of stored wool, old bedding, feathers and a bird’s nest or two in the eaves is a permanent supply. So is a chimney with a jackdaw nest in it.

Removing the source is the actual job in those cases. Treatment of the room below helps, but it is not what ends it, and we would rather tell you that than sell you the same treatment every spring.

The Sidcup Properties We Get Called To

Wardrobe floors, blanket boxes and the backs of drawers, along with the carpet perimeter in bedrooms directly under the loft.

Older houses here often have felt or hair underlay under a modern carpet. Larvae feed on the underlay and the carpet above looks fine until the damage is well on, which is why these jobs get found late.
