Carpet Beetle Control in Welling

Carpet Beetle Control in Welling – What We Usually Find

Welling terraces have continuous roof spaces and a lot of old birds’ nests in the eaves along them. Carpet beetle larvae feed on the feathers and debris in a nest, and then work down into the rooms below.

Treating the bedroom carpet while a nest sits above the ceiling is a job you will be paying for again. If the survey points upward we will say so, even though it makes the immediate job smaller.

The Welling Properties We Get Called To

Small mottled beetles on the windowsills of upstairs rooms in spring - that is the adults heading for the light, and it usually means larvae above or behind.

Damage tends to be scattered small holes rather than one spreading patch, and it turns up in stored clothing and along seams as well as in the carpet.
