Rat Control in Welling

Rat Control in Welling – What We Usually Find

Welling is built tight. Terraces share roof voids along their length, party walls run between properties, and the flats above the shops sit over commercial kitchens and waste storage. A rat problem in that setting is frequently a street problem or a building problem rather than a single-address one.

So the survey looks past your own four walls - at the shared roofline, the party wall, the yard behind the parade and the bin store. Treating one flat while the source sits two doors along is money spent on a symptom, and you would be the one paying it again in two months.

The Welling Properties We Get Called To

Above a shop, the two things that decide it are almost always the waste arrangement at the back and the service risers running up through the building. Both are usually the freeholder or the managing agent rather than the tenant, and we will put that in plain words for you to pass on.

In the terraces, the long shared loft void is the one people do not expect. A rat that got in at one end of the run can be over your ceiling without ever having touched your own roof.
