Bed Bug Treatment · Bexley
Bed Bug Treatment Prices - £220 First Room and £120 Additional Rooms
£220 for the first room, £120 for each one after. This is what that includes, what counts as a room, and what is not in the figure.
What Counts as a Room
Any room where someone sleeps and has been bitten. That includes a lounge if the sofa gets slept on, and a box room with a spare bed in it that nobody has used for a month.
It does not mean every room in the house. Bed bugs stay close to where people sleep, so a kitchen and a bathroom are not chargeable rooms and we will not add them to make a job bigger.
What Each Room Price Includes
Inspection of the bed, frame, headboard, adjoining furniture, skirting edges and flooring perimeter. Treatment of the harbourage rather than the open surfaces. The preparation list. And the follow-up visit — always, in the price, on every job.
The follow-up is not a bolt-on. Nothing on the market kills eggs that have not hatched, which is a fact about the insect, so a second treatment is required on essentially every bed bug job. A quote that does not include one is not a complete quote.

What Is Not Included
Laundry. Disposing of furniture. Replacing a mattress. Cleaning. Storage or removals if you decide to empty a room.
None of that is usually necessary anyway. Throwing out a bed before it has been looked at is the single most common waste of money in bed bug work, and dragging it through the house is one of the main ways an infestation spreads to a second room — which then costs £120.
What Changes the Figure and What Does Not
Adding a room changes it. Everything else does not: how heavy the infestation is, how long it has been going on, how many bugs are found, whether it needs a third visit rather than a second.
Getting the Room Count Right First Time
Have every sleeping room inspected on the first visit even if you only suspect one. Treating one room and finding the room next door two weeks later costs more and takes longer than having both looked at on day one, and the second room is only £120 while we are already there.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the lounge count if we have been sleeping on the sofa?
Yes, and it should be treated. It is one of the commonest places a second infestation establishes.
Is a third visit charged?
No. Whatever the job needs is inside the room prices.
Do I have to throw the bed out?
Almost never, and not before it has been inspected.
