What Is Guaranteed

The nest we treated. If it is still active once the treatment has had time to work, we come back and deal with it, and there is no second charge.

That is the whole promise, and it is deliberately narrow so that it can actually be honoured. A guarantee written broadly enough to cover everything is one that gets argued about at the point you try to use it.

How Long You Have to Wait Before Judging It

Give it two to three days. Activity drops within hours but returning foragers keep arriving for a while, and those wasps are carrying treatment into a nest that is already finished.

Ringing on the same afternoon because there are still wasps flying is the commonest false alarm we get. By day three it should be obviously quiet, and if it is not, that is when to call.

What Is Not Covered

A different nest. Properties that suit one nest often suit another, and a new nest built elsewhere on the building later in the season is a new job at the same £90.

Also not covered: a nest that has been interfered with after we treated it. Blocking the entrance, spraying it or knocking it down changes the outcome and makes it impossible to say whether the treatment worked. If you were tempted, leave it alone instead.

Season and Timing

A treated nest does not restart. Wasp colonies die off naturally in autumn and the same nest is never reused the following year, so the guarantee does not need to run beyond the season — there is nothing left to guarantee.

That is also why a nest found in spring is worth dealing with promptly and one found in late October often is not. If it is nearly over, we will say so rather than take the £90.
